KKVG 2019 - "Brexit - 14 days after"
8th Cologne Fine Art Insurance Talks 2019 will be held during the 53. ART COLOGNE
The next Cologne Fine Art Insurance Talks on 12.4.2019 will have the topic: "Brexit - 14 days after". We will discuss the effects on the art business, including international loans. How will the art related industries change? We will look specifically into the exhibitions, art transports, art market as well as the art insurances.
Friday, 20th April 2018, Maurice Philip Remy (author of the book "Der Fall Gurlitt"), Julia Barbara Ries (chief of the art insurance at ERGO), Karin Schulze-Frieling (Gallery Utermann, Dortmund and 2nd chairwoman of the BVDG), Amelie Ebbinghaus (Provenance Researcher, Art Loss Register, London) discuss amongst others with Peter Grabowski from 10 a.m. in Europasaal, KölnMesse.
Peter Grabowski, who works as a cultural-political reporter for WDR, among others, will present this topic in his well-established manner. Prof. Dr. Dirk Boll, President, Europe & UK, Middle East, Russia & India, CHRISTIE'S London, Dr. Thomas Schneider, Hasenkamp Holding GmbH, Eric Wolzenburg, Head of art insurance, Allianz Deutschland AG and Dr. Christina Berking, lawyer, specialist for copyright and media law at Buse Heberer Fromm, have confirmed their participation on the panel. Our experts from the art market, transport and judiciary as well as the insurance industry are sure to provide a stimulating and controversial discussion again. It will remain uncertain what kind of upheavals the UK has face in the following years and how it affects the art world.
We looking forward to hearing from you and please note: Friday, 12th April 2019, 10 a.m. – 12:30 a.m. in Europasaal, Koelnmesse.
